The Equine Fusion Dampening Pad adds a new level of concussion absorption to the Equine Fusion Hoof Boots. A specially designed rubber compound provides the pad with superb flexibility, dampening and biomechanical properties, making it ideal for both riding and rehabilitation. The pad has extremely good memory and almost no deformation during usage.
The pads are 4mm thick in sizes 7-16. The Regular pad can be cut to fit sizes Regular 7 to Regular 16 in any of the Equine Fusion Boots. The Slim pad can be cut to fit sizes Slim 7 to Slim 16 in any of the Equine Fusion Boots. They are sold in pairs.
The Pad can be cut to size if you're using a different brand of hoof boots. Let the horse stand on the Pad, trace around the hoof and trim the Pad with scissors to the outline of the hoof before placing the Pad into the hoof boot.
The pads can also be used to improve the fit of the hoof boot. Use them in hoof boots to help transition a horse from shod to barefoot, or as an aid in the treatment of laminitis, navicular, and other hoof ailments.
Note that these will be replacing the version 1 pads that come in individual sizes. We will continue to sell the individually sized pads until we sell out.
