What is different about the TheraRide Boot and what are the benefits?

TheraRide is the only therapeutic boot on the market suitable for both therapy and riding, supporting horses through recovery and activity. It comes with pads, which, when in place you basically have a thicker soled Enduro boot, great for horses that need more protection from rocks, or a softer landing. By combining therapeutic support with the rideability of the Enduro boot, your horse can enjoy additional support, even after they’ve healed.

The Sole:

A recessed cavity holds the pad in place. This prevents the pad from slipping or moving under the hoof which is the main cause of pads wearing out faster.

Sizing:

 TheraRides only come in Slim sizes, 0 to 5. With the pads in, your TheraRide boot will fit EXACTLY the same as an Enduro in the same size. So if your horse uses an Enduro size 3, they will use a size 3 TheraRide.  If you don't already have Enduros and need help with sizing, click the banner at the top of this page.

Pads: The TheraRide comes with two sets of flat pads: 

• A specially designed pad of "waffled" thermoplastic polyurethane that absorbs shock and reduces strain on muscles and tendons. The pad is perforated to reduce weight. This is the marigold pad you see in product photos. 
  

• The TheraRide comes also comes with softer pads made of compressed EVA (closed cell foam) shock-absorbing and long-lasting therapy pads.
